AB A left flaccid hemiparesis resolving completely over 44 hours occurring in a soldier of 19 years of age following a fitness test is described. This was not associated with any abnormality on magnetic resonance imaging of the brain and was probably an exceptionally rare manifestation of heat-induced neuropraxia.
