AB Infection is the third commonest cause of total hip arthroplasty failure. Infections of the hip with Candida species are extremely rare with only a few reports in the literature. A case of a 76-year-old female subject is presented illustrating both the difficulty in initial diagnosis and the challenges faced in hip reconstruction.
