2019, ImmunobiologyCitation Excerpt :In this report, we demonstrated that chemokine receptors are dispensable in migration of mycobacterial Ag-specific T cells in the M. bovis BCG-infected lung. It is generally accepted that interaction of chemokines and their receptors expressed on leukocytes is indispensable in migration of the leukocytes into the site of immune response (Johnston and Butcher, 2002). However, involvement of chemokine receptors in T cell migration into the infected lung is not well documented.
